In August 2011 among 174 NGOs KRASS has won the grant from the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and was awarded 15 000 000 UZS for the dissemination of the best practices of land and water use for sustainable development of agriculture in Khorezm, Uzbekistan Under this project, about 800 farmers will be trained on laser leveling of land, soil salinity monitoring, determining nitrogen needs of the plants and the soil, and rational water use
